My Mandela Project makes Nelson Mandela’s story accessible to children through the vision of a Digital Nelson Mandela Kids Museum — a future space where young people will explore his life, values, and ideas, such as fairness, courage, forgiveness, and respect in fun, age-appropriate ways.

A special highlight of this effort is The Mandela Passport Project: A Nelson Mandela doll travels from one public figure to the next, carrying messages of kindness, justice, and hope. Each stop helps children connect with Mandela’s legacy while encouraging support for the creation of the digital museum.

We also imagine mobile mini-museums that travel to libraries, shopping centres, and rural communities, bringing Mandela’s message directly to children wherever they are.
