60/75mm Nelson Mandela Career Figures
A set of miniature figures depicting key stages of Nelson Mandela’s life and career. Inspired by high-quality collectible figures like those from First Legion and Den of Imagination, the figures would be used in a special display or diorama to bring Mandela’s story to life in 3D. Through the project’s mobile mini-museums — travelling to airports, libraries, shopping centres, and rural communities — children could explore the exhibits up close, making history tangible, memorable, and inspiring.
A 12-inch hand puppet of Nelson Mandela, inspired by the beautiful work of Ellen Lustig of makemeapuppet.com. The puppet features a moving mouth, a hand-sculpted latex head, and a hand-sewn body and clothes. It would be displayed on a wooden pedestal, bringing a playful and interactive element to the museum.
